About Glenora Marina

Glenora Marina opened its doors over 40 years ago. In 1966 Al Wagner purchased the commercial fishing property and soon established Glenora Marina. The Marina was soon pumping gas, repairing motors and renting boats. Boat and motor sales were a large part of the business.

Al and his son Larry worked at building the business. Al and Larry were both certified Marine Mechanics. Business became so busy that they soon had to hire summer students.

When Al retired from the marina in 1987 Larry took over the full operations and in 1989 he hired a young man by the name of Ashley Tuttle. Ashley, who is still with the marina studied at Sir Sanford Flemming College and became a Certified Marine Industrial Technician. He has also attended several outboard and stern drive service schools. He is one of the most respected mechanics in the marine industry for this area.

In 1998 Larry’s son Scott started working at the marina and still does today. Scott has made it his job to familiarize himself in all areas of sales. He is a fine addition to the team.

Today Glenora Marina carries a large selection of marine hardware and accessories. Our largest marine item in constant demand today is NAYLOR aluminum docks, lifts, and railway systems.
